Anxiety
People with anxiety disorders frequently have intense behavior, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror (panic attacks) that reach a peak within minutes.
These feelings of anxiety and panic interfere with daily living activities, are difficult to control, are out of their proportion to the actual danger and can last a long time. They may avoid places or situations to prevent these feelings. Anxiety Symptoms may start during childhood or the teen years and continue until adulthood.
Anxiety disorders types include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), specific phobias and separation anxiety disorder. Sometimes they can have a more than one anxiety disorder. Sometimes anxiety results from a medical condition those conditions needs treatment.
Whatever form of anxiety they have, treatment can help them.
Symptoms:
Feeling nervous, restless or tense.
Panic or doom, having a sense of impending danger.
Having an increased heart rate/Tachycardia.
Rapid Breathing (hyperventilation).
Thinking about anything other than the present worry or Trouble concentrating.
Having trouble sleeping, having trouble sleeping, sweating and Trembling.
Difficulty controlling worry.
Experiencing GI (gastrointestinal) problems.
Tired Feeling weak.
