Dysarthria condition is characterized by slow or slurred speech and difficulty in articulation de due to a weakness or inability to control the muscles used for speech. It’s most commonly caused by nervous system/neurological disorders and conditions that cause facial palsy or throat and tongue weakness, such as MS (multiple sclerosis), ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and stroke.
